Available: 4/28/2008 - 7/20/2008
The historic Northwoods Inn is located in the heart of the
picturesque village of Lake Placid. This 92 room historic
hotel with two restaurants has hosted some of the greatest
athletes in the world and been witness to many world class
athletic events including the 1932 and the 1980 winter
Olympic Games, 2000 Goodwill Games, and, since 1999, the
Annual Ford Ironman Lake Placid.
Touted as one of the most challenging of the Ironman
courses, Lake Placid is the perfect training ground to
prepare you for the World Championship Race in beautiful
Hawaii.
As the official hotel of the Ironman Lake Placid, we are
offering training weekends every weekend at a low $99
nightly rate for a standard two room suite and $129 for a
two room kitchenette suite.
Call and request the Ironman "Road to Kona" Special when
placing
your reservation.
Northwoods Inn has two restaurants with outdoor seating on
Main Street; each uses the freshest ingredients possible.
Should your dietary requirements steer you away from a
traditional restaurant setting, our well equipped
kitchenette suites will enable you to control a more
personalized regimen.
Let Lake Placid and the Northwoods Inn be a part of your
training experience on your road to Kona.
