Delta Blue gets its name from the Delta Blues, one of the earliest styles of blues music, originating in the Mississippi Delta. Our goal is to deliver a cuisine reflective of the vocal style of this blues movement which ranges from introspective and soulful to passionate and firey. The menu is strongly grounded by the influence of this southern region, famous for its friendly hospitality, soulful sounds, and its dynamic cuisine.

Roxy Perry launched her Blues career in the late 80’s, when she quickly became known for her exciting live performances at clubs, concert halls and festivals across in the U.S. and abroad. She won the reputation as “the real deal” threw her riveting performances and highly acclaimed CD’s in Blues and Jazz circles worldwide.

Friday, December 19th, Spring Street, 9pm. No cover. A unique mix of rock, country, bluegrass, blues and strong vocal harmonies make Spring Street a must-see when visiting the Tri-Lakes area. One of the hottest bands in the Adirondacks, Spring Street serves up Val's incredible vocals over an instrumental section that gets you moving at every show. Whether they're cranking out an old rock classic or a new hit song, Spring Street delivers night after night.

Saturday, December 20th, Connor Kennedy, 9pm. No cover. Connor Kennedy: is a singing writer of songs, a multi-instrumentalist and a future cynic. Born in northern New Jersey and raised in the quaint blue-collar town of Saugerties, NY. Kennedy spent his childhood years collecting classic movie monster memorabilia and cultivating an obsession with twentieth century pop culture. From the ages of 14-18, he considered himself a professional musician and others considered him a blues player. After relocating to Woodstock, NY; Connor began work on his first record; a collection of songs written over the course of several years of his adolescence.
'Nothing Lasts: Nothing's Over' was released in 2013. In the time since, his ability as a songwriter has strengthened significantly and he continues allocating subjective inspiration on a daily basis for the purpose of creating more work.

Friday & Saturday, December 26th & 27th , Jerry Dugger., 9PM.  No Cover. Guitarist, bassist and vocalist, Jerry Dugger, was born in The Bronx and raised in Harlem. A decades-long veteran of the New York City blues scene, Jerry honed his skills over thirteen years playing at, and eventually hosting the weekend afternoon jams at the famed Dan Lynch Blues Bar, which, in it’s time, had been the hub of the New York City blues scene.

Sunday & Monday, December 28th & 29th, Dave Keyes, 9pm. No cover. Dave has been a mainstay on the New York music scene for over 20 years, playing with some of the most important figures of blues, roots and folk music. This varied musical journey started in the spiritual Southern sounds of blues, soul and classic boogie-woogie, and continues through Dave's recent CD's and his vibrant soulful live shows.

Tuesday, December 30th, George Kilby Jr., 9pm. No cover. I play rough-cut American music. It’s about writing great songs and laying down a groove, not keeping great traditions. My lyrics cut to the heart of things... no apologies. I break any rule I need to, so the music speaks directly to the people. George Kilby Jr. has taken his music from the road-houses of the Southeast to the major music festivals of Europe. His sound has been called everything from New Orleans R&B to Alternative Country. Born in Alabama, and residing in New York, Kilby's band is one of the top acts in the Northeast; and has backed the legendary Pinetop Perkins for more than a decade.

 

New Year Eve Party, December 31st, The Funk Collection (Cabin Grill) Delta Roots (Delta Blue), 9pm. Cover TBD. The Funk Collection began its powerhouse line up  of party music in  The Sugarbush Vermont resort area in 1998. Rocking Vermont ski areas, street dances, functions, festivals and clubs with an unusual collection of funk and rock music that generate dance grooves that appeal to everyone. The band has grown a style of music improvisation known throughout the state with it's members who have performed together for decades. This experience together creates tight performances and dance grooves every party.

Friday & Saturday, January 2nd & 3rd, Petey Hop, 9PM.  No Cover. Pete has a huge appreciation for all styles of music, from Hank to Hendrix, Duke to Dylan, Bach to Buck, Son House to Son Volt or Muddy to Miles. Steeped in electric blues from T-Bone through Stevie Ray, with a good understanding of early country blues as well, Pete has a deep well to draw from. A big fan of early country music by Hank, Johnny and Jimmie w/a healthy dose of Bakersfield, Outlaw and Alternative Country to thicken the roux. The original material that Pete writes is eclectic to say the least, running the gamut from straight ahead Rock & Roll, Americana, Electric and Acoustic Blues, Country, Singer-songwriter, Alternative, and other influences. In addition to being an accomplished singer/frontman, Pete is a sought after sideman. Mitch Woods regularly calls him to be one of his East Coast Rocket 88’s, even taking him to Greece for a two week residency at the Half Note Jazz club in Athens in ‘08-’09. With Mitch, Pete has played The Rhythm and Roots festival, The Michael Arnone Crawfish Festival, The Chenango Blues festival. Pete was lucky enough to share the stage once with one of his idols, Hubert Sumlin, and twice w/ Pinetop Perkins.

Vocalist and Guitarist DeanSHot is an artist of the highest form,  hailing from New Jersey.  Dean's singing and playing explode with soul, self-expression, emotion and creativity. Dean's playing incorporates many diverse musical influences and draws from his unique experiences growing up in Northern New Jersey, surrounded by various cultures.   Finding inspiration in a large variety of early American music, Dean's influences can often be clearly heard, yet he delivers a strong style that is most definitely all his own.

Saturday & Sunday, January 17th & 18th, Michael Hill’s Blues Mob, 9PM.  No Cover. Michael Hill’s Blues Mob has recorded six internationally released albums of their Original, New York-Style Blues. The Mob has captivated audiences in twenty-nine countries around the globe. Beginning with “Bloodlines”, their 1994 Alligator Records debut, they’ve built a distinguished body of work that has drawn world-wide critical and audience acclaim for dynamic musicianship and vivid storytelling. Michael Hill’s lyrics eloquently convey the passion, the humor and the desire for freedom and justice that are intrinsic to the blues. The band transmits those lyrics through blues that is seasoned with flavors of rock, R&B, funk and more, making every show a celebration of music, life and love.

Friday & Saturday, January 23rd & 24th, Vanessa Collier, 9pm. No cover. Vanessa is one of the fastest rising young artists to come out of the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. She is a multi-talented vocalist, saxophonist, and songwriter. Vanessa spent a year and a half touring the continental United States and Turkey, honing her blues style alongside Grammy Award-winning artist and Blues Hall of Fame inductee, Joe Louis Walker. Vanessa has also played alongside Annie Lennox, Kathy Mattea, Willie Nelson, and other notable artists; headlined the Red Clay Jazz Festival in Kauai, Hawaii; played live on top radio shows; performed live on China’s equivalent of MTV; and was featured on Zhejiang TV while performing during a two week tour in China. Most recently, Vanessa was honored as a finalist in the John Lennon Songwriting Competition for her original song "Bad News Bears"

Friday & Saturday, January 30th & 31st, The Bad Hands, 9pm. No cover. The Bad Hands are a group of top shelf musicians known for their incredible live performances. The band consists of world class harmonica player Mike Foli and a rock solid rhythm section including Jim "Poppa Dukes" Benedetti on drums and Steve Mahady on bass guitar. The Bad Hands are one of the best blues/jam band lineups out of New Jersey and deliver a dynamic, high energy show. These players pride themselves in their dedication to the music. They pledge to honor their blues roots while blending soul, funk, southern rock and jam band influences to create a sound all their own.
