Delta Blue gets its name from the Delta Blues, one of the earliest styles of blues music, originating in the Mississippi Delta. Our goal is to deliver a cuisine reflective of the vocal style of this blues movement which ranges from introspective and soulful to passionate and firey. The menu is strongly grounded by the influence of this southern region, famous for its friendly hospitality, soulful sounds, and its dynamic cuisine.

Friday & Saturday, February 13th & 14th, George Kilby Jr., 9PM. George Kilby Jr. No Cover. George has taken his music from the road-houses of the Southeast to the major music festivals of Europe. His sound has been called everything from New Orleans R&B to Alternative Country. Born in Alabama, and residing in New York, Kilby's band is one of the top acts in the Northeast; and has backed the legendary Pinetop Perkins for more than a decade.

Sunday & Monday, February 15th & 16th, Ramblin Dan Stevens, 9pm. No cover. Ramblin' Dan Stevens performs a mix of traditional finger style blues, americana and originals and has entertained audiences  throughout the United States, Germany, UK, Canada and US Virgin Islands.  His unique style of "bottleneck" slide playing popularized by early Mississippi Delta bluesmen includes use of a homemade, three stringed "Cigar Box Guitar" and one stringed "Diddly Bow", both primitive blues instruments.  A finalist in the International Blues Challenge on Beale St. in Memphis TN and protege of the legendary folk and blues icon Dave Van Ronk, Dan has been lauded as a raconteur and for the authenticity of his approach.  Dave’s career has recently been highlighted by the release of the the Coen Brothers movie, “Inside Llewyn Davis”, set in the Greenwich Village scene in the sixties. Also, Dan plays regularly in the New York City Subway System in locations such as Times Square and Grand Central Terminal. 

Tuesday, February 17th, Blue Steel, 9pm. No cover. This local band is guaranteed to get you up and groovin' all night. Plying all your favorite music from rockabilly to the blues!

Friday, February 20th, Funk Collection, 9pm. No cover. The Funk Collection began its powerhouse line up  of party music in  The Sugarbush Vermont resort area in 1998. Rocking Vermont ski areas, street dances, functions, festivals and clubs with an unusual collection of funk and rock music that generate dance grooves that appeal to everyone. The band has grown a style of music improvisation known throughout the state with it's members who have performed together for decades. This experience together creates tight performances and dance grooves every party. 

Saturday, February 21st, Blues for Breakfast, 9pm. No cover. Blues For Breakfast is now entering its 3rd decade of entertaining people in northern New England and New York. Started back in 1991 to play a Discover Jazz Festival blues jam, they have evolved into the Champlain Valley's "Do It All" band. Though focused mostly on "Grateful Americana", the group loves to mix classic rock, reggae, Motown and originals into their shows if the room calls for it.

Friday, February 27th, Funkwagon, 9pm. No cover. Funkwagon is a gospel infused funk band based in Burlington, VT. The band was formed in 2005 by Aaron Burroughs. “I like to think of it as church with a smoker’s section…and a bar,” says Burroughs. Funkwagon is not a typical funk band, as the name might suggest. “Well for one thing its very vocal oriented, said Burroughs. “We pay attention to our lyrics.” “It’s popular, it’s pop music in a way that it’s hook oriented and bass driven but we have five and sometimes six part harmonies stacked on top of it all so it really does feel kind of like a choir.” “Everything I do kind of has that church choir feel to it. But its kind of raw, but not in a way that’s imposing and won’t be on the radio, you know what I mean?”

Saturday, February 28th, R.B. Stone, 9PM.  No Cover. RB Stone is a singer, songwriter and musician based in Nashville, Tennessee. RB Stone’s parents were huge music lovers; his father, a blues/boogie, rock ‘n’ roller and his mother, a fan of Tennessee Ernie Ford, Janis Joplin, Herb Alpert, Johnny Cash, Sly and the Family Stone, Elvis and the wide variety of hits from the 60’s. At 12, his mother showed him some chords on the piano and Bill Withers’ hit “Lean On Me” was the first song he learned, which started the ball rolling in his long blues/boogie composing career.

Friday & Saturday, March 6th & 7th, Murali Coryell, 9PM.  No Cover. Murali Coryell is a triple threat contemporary blues artist who can sing, write, and play guitar with the best in the business.  As the son of guitar legend Larry Coryell, Murali grew up around the likes of Jimmy Hendrix, Miles Davis, and Carlos Santana.  In 1995 Murali joined Duke Robillard’s touring band and was quickly signed as a solo artist resulting in the stax/volt influenced “Eyes Wide Open”. In 1999, Murali recorded “2120” for Marshall Chess for which Rolling Stone named Murali “One promising new hound”.

Friday, March 20th, Fade to Blues, 9pm. No cover. Fade to Blues is located in northern New York but their hearts belong to Texas! Their brand of original blues is steeped in the traditions of the great Texas blues guitar players. The music they play boogies, shuffles,swings and burns with the incendiary guitar playing and vocals of BB Ready. Bassist Dave Fischer and drummer Jay Lamica  lay down infectious grooves as if locked together with one mind. They will "rock the house" to it's foundation. Their live show leaves the musicians and audience physically and emotionally drained. "We never hold anything back. Whether were playing for an audience of ten or 1000 we leave it all on stage!"Fade to Blues will be representing the Capital Region Blues Network and upstate NY at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN in January 2015.

Friday & Saturday, March 27th & 28th, Roxy Perry & Rhett Tyler, 9pm. No cover. Rhett Tyler traditionally performs both with his band, Early Warning, and as a solo artist on the acoustic 12-string (along with his harmonica). He has performed at many prominent festivals and venues, including the Mississippi Valley Blues Fest (IA), Fleet Blues Fest (NY), Jersey Shore Jazz & Blues Fest, (NJ), and Treasure Coast Blues Fest (FL). Tyler has also shared billing with many distinguished blues artists, including Johnny Winter, Lonnie Brooks, Elvin Bishop, Delbert McClinton, and John Hammond and is opening for B.B. King in Albany on April 17th. Rhett was inducted into the New York Blues Hall of Fame in 2011 as a “Master Blues Artist from New York”.

Roxy Perry launched her Blues career in the late 80’s, when she quickly became known for her exciting live performances at clubs, concert halls and festivals across in the U.S. and abroad. She won the reputation as “the real deal” threw her riveting performances and highly acclaimed CD’s in Blues and Jazz circles worldwide.
